To kick things off Ethan's preschool class had a Gingerbread House party. Ok, so the walls were actually made out of graham crackers but the kids had a great time anyway.
Ethan is loving going to school twice a week and its been so fun to hear him talk about his day and tell me all about the little projects that he brings home. It blows my mind to think that in just a matter of months he'll be in Kindergarten.

We were so blessed to be able to fly home to Idaho for the holidays! And I was grateful to not be traveling with the kids alone. Here are Trent and the kids on the tram at the Denver Airport.
We hadn't had much snow leading up to Christmas so I was really excited for the kids to be able to have some play time out in the snow in Idaho.
Kiari totally reminded me of a little oompaloompa in all her snow garb.

Nearly everyone was home for Christmas so we took advantage and we blessed Enoch at my in-law's house.

Before Kiari was even an idea my mom started her collection of princess dresses. They were still a little big on her but this little girl looooves top lay dress-up.
Over the break Enoch started smiling more and more.

You'll notice the lack of Christmas-ish pictures..... our plan was to have our own little Christmas with the kids when we got back to Colorado. Trent had to be back to work Tuesday the 28th so he flew home the night before. The kids and I were staying to spend a few extra days with my parents and brothers and would be flying back Thursday the 30th. However... on the 30th Denver just happened to be hit hard with a blizzard which canceled our flight. So the kids and I ended up staying in Idaho through the following Sunday. So Trent and I ended spending both our anniversary (Dec. 27th) and New Year's Eve in separate states. It was really great to have the extra time with family but when it came time to go I was ready for our vacation to be over and be back home with Trent.
Traveling home alone with the 3 kids worked out pretty good. I had my parents help getting mostly through security in Idaho Falls and when it came time to board a really nice guy offered to help with my carry on's.
The kids were great the first leg of the flight and our layover in Salt Lake was just long enough to where I didn't have to stress about having to race through the airport. I had Ethan and Kiari in the double stroller while Enoch was sound asleep in the baby backpack. We got something to eat and the kids were even able to have some play time in a little play area just down from our gate. What was really great was having both Enoch and Kiari fast asleep on the second leg of the flight.
So we made it home safe and sound and it was so great to be with Trent again.
Overall the holidays were wonderful! We had so much fun with SO much family and I'm left wishing that I had taken more pictures.
