Bringing you a bit up to date.

The past few weeks I've been trying to remember if I was this sick when I was pregnant with Ethan. I remember being sick... losing lots or weight.... getting my energy back.... gaining the weight back... etc. etc. but I remember I reached a point where I just absolutely loved being pregnant and that's how it was up until Ethan arrived. I just can't believe how out of commission I've been the past few weeks and apologize for the lack of blogging. Last week was the worst of all and I'll spare you the details. As of last Saturday however, there's been a noticeable difference in my energy level (much to the joy of my husband as more energy means a happier more pleasant to be around wife) and the morning/24-7 morning sickness seems to be letting up a bit. This week has been pretty darn nice so far, I've been able to go walking to do my errands without wishing I were home in bed and I've even been able to stay relatively on top cleaning our little house.
We've had some fun activities and some unexpected happenings this month so I'm anxious to put up a few other posts to bring things completely up to date but for now be happy in knowing that we are all alive and well and baby #2 is letting up on the control board that activates all my symptoms.

Mud Run

June 14th was our latest 10K down at the Camp Pendleton Marine Base in California. Not your typical 10K. First of all there were 1000's of people there ready to get down and dirty. Near the beginning were a couple of fire hoses, a creek to cross, a hill to climb, tire obstacle, and multiple mud pits to run through. Then a river to swim across and one last mud pit that you had to crawl through on your stomach. That being said I'm sorry that I don't have any after pictures, just before. Suffice it to say we were good and dirty. 3 months pregnant and a 10K through a marine base. Not bad, eh? And yes.... I walked nearly all of it.

After the 10K we really didn't have a game plan for the rest of the day so my hubby was pretty excited when Mom made the following suggestion, "I was thinking it'd be fun to find a place that rents long boards and the girls could sit on the beach and watch the boys surf." No one had any problem with that. So after a quick trip to the hotel and a bite to eat we were off to the beach for the rest of the day.
My hottie hubby was pretty dang happy.
We girls were pretty content too.

And then he was tired.
