Nearly 2 a.m. and here I be, home from work nearly two hours, content to know that my boys are (and have been for over an hour) fast asleep in bed. I'm tired but I'm not sleepy so I figured I may as well add a new post to our somewhat naked and newly founded blog. I've been looking through a few family/friends' blogs and can't help but be quite envious of the plethora of pictures on each page. I haven't seen our camera since after Christmas and, camera-happy as I am, I'm experiencing quite the withdrawal. There have been so many moments that I have so desperately wanted to capture and the bitsy camera on my phone just doesn't cut it. *sigh* Perhaps my beloved camera will come back to us one day someday soon. Until then I can only hope that near future funds will allow for a decent replacement.
Life's pretty crazy here in the VanderSloot home as of late. There are two versions of an update that can be told, 1. the female version, or 2. the reader's digest version. The female, or my, version tends to be a bit lengthier than the reader's digest version which is usually/always the version my eternal companion prefers to hear. Being that it is now 4 minutes to 2 I suppose I'll stick to man's preferred version.
Trent is in school full-time, working part-time as personal assistant for the owner of Holladay Real Estate.
I'm at home with Ethan during the day with a few other things on my plate. The past few weeks have proven quite interesting as I've striven to balance out my responsibilities to home, hubby, baby, piano students, Melaleuca, and Craigo's. Although exciting..... I'm a little tired. Hence my being up later then I have been in months.
I could go on with this late night update but I'm feeling the effects of my brain shutting down and best give in to my body's need for sleep.
until next time.
