3 years

3 years ago on December 26th Trent and I had our reception. It was the night before our wedding and it was beautiful.

The next morning on December 27th, we were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple for Time and All Eternity.

The next day we flew out to Orlando where we spent a week playing at Disney World.
About 9 months and 2 weeks later we welcomed our amazing son Ethan Matthew to our family. We were thrilled.

Ethan was a beautiful and extremely mellow baby.

He almost always had a smile on his face...

...and it has been amazing watching him learn and grow.

It's hard to believe he's already 2 years old.

In April 2008 we were learned we were expecting baby #2, a little girl.

And on December 12th Kiari Bel joined our little family.

The past 3 years have been amazing! Trent is a wonderful husband and truly the love of my life. He has been such an amazing example to me and I feel that I am more the person the Lord would have me be because of him. And just when I thought I couldn't love him more, along came our children. Trent is an incredible father and I absolutely love watching him with Ethan. I love and appreciate the way that Trent takes advantage of every opportunity to teach Ethan something new and for the way that Ethan has grown and continues to grow because of it. I love the way that Trent was wrapped around Kiari's little finger well before she was born and I can't get enough of the two of them together.
Before we were married I was sure we were supposed to wait at least a year before we started having kids. 3 year and 2 kids later I can't imagine what our lives would be like without them.
I am so grateful for the 3 years that we've had together so far and I look forward to each and every moment with my little family. I'm so excited for the days and years ahead of us.
I LOVE YOU TRENT, ETHAN, AND KIARI!!

Happy Anniversary.

At Last....... a Picture Update

Not a stage picture. Love it.

I love love LOVE this picture.
I need to do better at taking candid shots of Trent with Kiari cause he's not so much about posing.
My sister-in-law Emily gave me these booties for Kiari and I absolutely love them! I'm so sad that Kiari has already outgrown them.

Kiari at 4 weeks.

Helping Nana make pudding.
What was I thinking?!

Kiari at 5 weeks. Trent's aunt Berta gave Kiari this outfit and I love it! Once again.... I'm said it no longer fits her. You can tell it's a bit snug on her little belly.
Yes.... we have joined the ranks of those desperately trying to potty train their toddler. Ethan successfully peed and pooped in the potty for the very first time on January 7th and since then has been quite successful at going potty first thing in the morning... albeit crying most of the time cause he's not all that thrilled at rushing the waking up process.... but here's hoping he's getting used tothe idea of said routine. Here he is doing a little light reading before bedtime.

Baby Tony.
Have I mentioned that Ethan loves holding his baby sister?
Yep... he's out cold. I was in the rocking chair with Kiari when he came over and relaxed on the ottoman. I asked him if he wanted to lay on the couch and he said, "no I lay on this one." and out he went.

The Best Christmas Present Ever

A little low on budget we got Ethan a couple of remote controlled cars and a beta fish that he and Trent named Moby.

Little shepherd boy ready for the nativity re-enactment.

The holidays were wonderful- filled with lots of family and even more snow. And most importantly the Spirit of Christ.
